Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads concerning the vanished dog named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.

The beagle, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and the footballer shared a Google maps location of her last known location.

"Any news about our pet Halo please contact us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and will return with us quickly," the athlete posted on Instagram.

Initial Offer and Heartfelt Appeals

Ramsey initially revealed that Halo had gone missing 14 days prior and has since posted multiple photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.

A $10,000 reward was first announced, but with no news on Halo's whereabouts after a week, the player and his family raised the sum.

"All we desire is Halo back," he stated in another appeal on social media after the decade-old dog was lost.

A recent image post is a black and white photo of Halo sleeping, its head lying in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the caption: "What I'd do to hold you again sweet Halo."

Household's Worries and Background

Ramsey has also circulated a message from his spouse Colleen on online channels mentioning they have a few "serious questions" regarding the incident and worry the household "may never obtain clarity".

"We still have not located Halo. I don't think we will," the spouse's post expressed.

The Welsh leader joined Mexican top-flight team Pumas UNAM recently and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.

Born in Caerphilly footballer is the initial prominent British athlete to participate in the Mexico's top division.
