The Music Icon Portrays a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film Preview
The celebrated musician is preparing for a substantial film appearance in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, Charli embodies what she describes as a hell version of her own persona.
It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the star commented.
She further explained in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, yet the concept originated from the demand to create one.
A Sneak Peek into The Film
The first teaser, launched on recently, combines authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined off-stage interactions.
The Moment is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who explained that the story centers on a reality where the artist made entirely different choices during the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.

She also joined to star in Dakota Johnson’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement
February will also bring the release of the director’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from the artist.
Additionally, she will compose the score for the drama Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released soon.
The Moment is scheduled to debut on the 30th of January.
